Beta: our value model is in active development and improves as we add real sale data. A guidance estimate, not a certified appraisal. Real value depends on damage history, logs, condition and a pre-buy inspection.
What's a Cessna 206 worth?
Utility demand keeps prices firm. The turbocharged T206H/Turbo Stationair is now the dominant used-market segment and commands a real premium over the normally-aspirated U206; floats and amphibious kits add another distinct tier on top of that. A rare Soloy turboprop conversion is a different aircraft entirely. Restart-era (1998+) T206H models sit well above the classic-era U206/P206 fleet.
The biggest value drivers, in order:
Engine time (SMOH). Hours since major overhaul move the price more than almost anything, a fresh engine can swing value by tens of thousands.
Total airframe time. Lower-time airframes command a premium; very high time discounts the price.
Avionics. A modern glass panel adds real dollars; basic steam gauges are valued lower but cheaper to insure.
Damage history & logs. Clean, complete logs and no damage history protect resale value.
Condition, paint & interior. Cosmetics and a current annual round out the final number.
