1959 Cessna 175 — N7527M. Offered at $439,000. This aircraft underwent an extensive ground-up restoration in 2023 that transformed a classic Cessna into a modern, backcountry-capable airplane; everything is new except the original aluminium exterior skins. All hours quoted here — 220 on the airframe, engine and propeller — are TIME SINCE THAT 2023 RESTORATION, not time since the aircraft left the factory in 1959; total time since new is available from the seller. The restoration was performed by Myers Aviation of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and included a new Continental IO-370-CLCU8 engine, a new Hartzell HC-C2YR-1N/NG8301-3 two-blade constant-speed propeller, completely renewed aircraft wiring, modern Garmin avionics, digital fuel indication, upgraded landing gear and brakes, STOL modifications and expanded baggage capacity. The engine and propeller both show 220 hours since new, and compressions are 78, 76, 73 and 75 over 80. Panel: dual Garmin G5s, a Garmin GNC 255A nav/com, a Garmin GTX 335 transponder with ADS-B Out and GAE 12 encoder, a PS Engineering PM3000 audio panel, a Garmin Aera 760, a JPI EDM-900 engine monitor and CiES digital fuel senders. Also fitted: a Sportsman STOL cuff, 8.50 main tires, upgraded brakes, a reinforced nose gear, extended baggage with a baggage door, LED lighting, BAS harnesses and a Jet Glo Matterhorn White finish. Maximum gross weight is 2,350 lbs with a 980 lb useful load — carrying capability comparable to a 182 in an airframe that will operate off short and unimproved strips.
